Some old embedded x86 chips have this "God Mode" where you can issue
commands as a User (in Ring 3) and immediately gain full control
access to kernel processes (Ring 0). The justification for such a
feature is to overcome a manufacturer's own custom feature.

According to the author,
Just the fact that such a thing exists at all is worrisome,
It's unknown how many chips were built with this feature and if any
are currently manufactured today.

Enjoy!
