Hello all,

I have a favor to ask and I'm hoping many of you will indulge me as I
have never in 20 years asked this group for anything of a commercial
nature before:

** I need 10 minutes of your time for an 8 question research phone call
with me personally which is NOT a sales call.

As some of you know, I am in Australia working on a startup called
detexian.com. We do event based intrusion detection focused initially on
SMBs for whom traditional "enterprise grade" intrusion detection is out
of reach. We have had VC investment from Right Click Capital and have
been accepted into the Cyrise cyber security accelerator program (which
comes with investment and mentorship and great networking).

If you can afford Splunk or have a CISO or security team, we're probably
not for you.

If you are a sysadmin/devops type person (you have root/admin on some
machines) my partner and I would like to schedule a 10 minute phone
conversation where we will ask you 8 questions. This is NOT a sales call
(you can't buy during this call even if you want to), we will never
initiate contact with you again unless you contact us requesting it, and
the call WILL NOT exceed 10 minutes.

This is just a bit of market research.
