I've been approached about doing a presentation on Virtualization.
I don't have a slide deck ready today, but I can possibly put together
something that explores basic concepts of all popular vitualitaition
((VirtualBox, VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, QEMU) using hypervisors.
Would cover novice basics like how to choose, what is better for
certain scenarios, how it's installed on openSUSE and what is
different between running openSUSE vs other distros.
Audience target would be everyone from newbie/novice to expert, and
for all uses... Whether you are a casual User, a business, a Developer
student, more.
I feel confident knowing this stuff, so it's not like I'd have to do
any research.
If people aren't already using virtualization extensively in what they
do, this might be an eye-opener in improving your Productivity by
being able to do more things than you might imagine without risking
your machine and everything you have on it.
Or, we can talk about something else...
If someone has a topic that's just burning a hole, just ask...
In the past, I've done presentations (so slide decks are available and
might only need to be updated) on stuff like
- Practical Passwords (First created in 2007 and still 99% relevant today)
- How to create and deploy your FREE website on Github (Bring your
laptop and do it during the presentation)
If someone else has something they want to talk about, I'd be willing
to bow to that, too.

Post by Tracy ReedI don't have anyone in the pipeline. Meetup says Peter in error. He did
last month and wasn't planning on doing anything for this month.
Volunteers? I'm still out of town.
